LDI Post-Evaluation Survey

Thank you for evaluating for LDI's Competitive Program! We enjoyed seeing your dancer push themselves at evals and would like to learn more about your dancer/family's goals in looking into our competitive program.

Each dancer's journey is unique. As we review evaluations with our staff, we also want to better understand your dancer's goals and desired commitment level. Your responses will be one of several factors considered when determining placements and recommendations for the upcoming season. Please asnwer the following question to the best of your ability at this time.

LDI offers 2 competitive pathways for our students. Knowing which your dancer is interested in with help us guide them with the appropriate classes to help them reach their goals.

1. Hybrid/Part-Time

  • Dancers are committed to quality training while balancing other activities.

  • Attendance expectations remain important, and schedule accommodations must be discussed prior to the start of the season.

  • Frequent unexcused absences or tardies are not permitted.

  • Dancers will typically attend classes 2 days per week.

  • Individualized schedules may include additional technique classes when recommended by LDI.

  • Competition routines and styles may be limited and will be determined by LDI based on readiness, commitment, and team needs.

  • Dancers are expected to demonstrate dedication, respect, focus, proper dance attire, preparation, and positive participation in all classes whether recreational or competitive.

2. Full-Time

  • Dance will be the primary extracurricular commitment.

  • Weekly attendance is expected, and frequent unexcused absences and tardiness are not acceptable.

  • Additional classes and/or privates may be recommended based on LDI's evaluation to support your dancer's  growth.

  • Dancers will typically train 3 days per week to train in a variety of dance styles and technique/conditioning/flexibilty classes.

  • The total number of competition routines and styles will be determined by LDI based on the readiness of each individual dancer.
