BOYS ONLY CLASSES
We welcome boys to try out any one of our classes/styles in their age group! However, we also offer "boys only" classes where boys can feel more comfortable and excited to experience the fun of dance together! We are happy to offer a class in any other style as well if we get enough interest!
THURSDAYS
4:00-4:45pm - Hip-Hop
4:45-5:30pm - Tap
5:30-5:45pm - Intro to Jazz
We welcome new dancers to try every and all styles the first week! We always encourage trying new things and we do allow schedule changes through December. However, we do prefer and recommend students begin their chosen dance subject(s) closer to the beginning of the dance season to maximize their time for technique, as teachers will begin choreography for recital routines in January.
NEW STUDENTS
Classes will focus on technique, terminology, classroom etiquette, flexibility/strength, and learning to work with their classmates in the first 4 months. The focus is then shifted in January to apply what they learned in the fall to memorizing choreography, developing musicality, working through formations, and building confidence in performance skills. Each class will prepare your dancer to perform in our big year-end recital in June! Classes will always be set in a disciplined yet fun environment with positive, nurturing instruction where our staff will guide each individual dancer to their fullest potential!

ACROBATIC ARTS
Acrobatic Dance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Students will have the opportunity to experience the Acrobatic Arts examination process which is designed to motivate dancers. Having defined and achievable goals is a proven way to motivate dancers to excel.
Learn more about this program HERE.
WEDNESDAYS 7:30-8:30pm BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
SATURDAYS 9:00-10:00am BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
*There will be certain tricks that will overlap in both our Acrobatic Arts and Acro & Tumbling classes (see below). Acro Arts has more of a focus on the fusion of dance technique, athleticism, flexibility, agility, and strength through acrobatic skills that are seamlessly incorporated into dance choreography. Acro Arts works towards tumbling tricks, but with a more well-rounded focus on balancing, limbering, and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength. This class is recommended for dancers wanting to put acro tricks into their dances as the program uses progressions for dancers to safely learn how to take their tricks off the mats and onto the dance floor.
ACRO & TUMBLING
Tumbling is a high energy class that focuses on stamina, and muscle strength, through repetition of movement. This class will work more towards tricks where they are completely off the floor (like aerials, back handsprings, back tucks, etc). Tumbling classes will focus more on getting the students to be "fearless" and get rid of mental blocks for these more advanced skills.
