Dance and other activities are equally important.
This option is ideal for dancers balancing dance with sports, theater, music, academics, or other major commitments which tend to occur during regular class times throughout the year.
Families in this program understand:
Dancers still want quality training while maintaining balance
Commitment and attendance expectations remain important, so accommodations will need to be discussed and set in advance before the dance season begins taking into account the entire season.
Dancers must have a strong attendance; frequent unexcused tardies will not be accepted.
Dancers may have a tailored dance schedule to meet training requirements which could require additional technique classes throughout the week or weekends.
Dancers are expected to maintain dedication and the highest level of respect to both their teacher and peers in the classroom. This includes preparation, appropriate dance attire, focus, and active participation.
Choosing to do a Hybrid program will mean if an outside activity causes a dancer to miss multiple dance classes, the dancer will most likely not be able to take or compete certain affected classes
